Murad is a highly praised brand among skin care especially for troubled skin. I don’t really have troubles kin but I do suffer from congested pores. Sometimes, I would wake up and my pores would look HUGE and my skin would get pretty oily. I decided to test out this brand since summer is here and the heat is not kind to my pores.
Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish ($30)
Description: Helps the skin relieve of congestion in pores and smoothes away imperfections without stripping the skin of moisture. Cinnamon and witch hazel in the product helps tighten the pores. Starflower extract leaves the skin supple and soft after use.
How To: Massage a small amount on to damp face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
I do love this product. The beads are very fine so it is not harsh on the skin. It has a very light fresh scent and really brightens the skin after using. I can’t give it 5/5 because it did break me a out a little bit. It says to use 2-3 times a week, which I did but I think that’s a bit too much for me. I think that this product does a great job at helping my skin feel soft and supple. However, I was hoping to see more of the pores being minimized part. I’ve only been using this for about 3 weeks so hopefully I see more of a result!
Hydrating Toner ($28)
Description: A toner that helps with replenishing the skin moisture and is alcohol free. It has cucumber extract to help soothe the skin and vitamin C/E to provide antioxidant protection.
How To: Apply evenly all over face and neck.
This is the first step in my morning routine after I wash my face! It really refreshes me and wakes up my skin. It also has a very light fresh scent just like the smoothing polish. This keeps my skin oil free so I can have a nice smooth and supple surface for my make up. I definitely recommend this toner! I also find that after using this toner I have less dry patches on my skin.
