What I Learned in 2015

  1. Let things go. Stop holding onto someone who has moved on. Stop holding onto things that you can’t change.
  2. Pursue your dreams. I know that it sounds cheesy but I really learned how important this is this year. I felt so lost and unmotivated for the longest time until I finally found my passion. It has brought me a lot more happiness and I feel a great weight lifted off my shoulders.
  3. It’s important to spend time with your family.
  4. Stop expecting so much. It’s good to have expectations but sometimes our expectations can start to hold us back.
  5. Sleep in and be lazy. Β Sometimes we just need a day to ourselves and just do nothing.
  6. It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes.
  7. English breakfast tea + Condensed Milk = Better than Coffee.
  8. Educate yourself. Read the news. Research something that is interesting to you and learn about it.
  9. You can always make time for the people you love. It’s easy to get caught up with life but don’t forget the ones that have always been there for you. They deserve your attention too.
  10. Anger does not solve anything.
  11. Spoil yourself. It’s okay to go and buy that bag you’ve wanted because you deserve it. Wine and dine yourself a bit sometimes.
  12. Say Sorry. Stubborn is not a good look and you don’t want to ask, “is it too late to say sorry?”
  13. Stop being so afraid of missing out on something.
  14. Don’t forget to show the ones Β you love your appreciation.
  15. Never turn down happy hour.
