Thanks to Sephora, I got a sample of this to try out! According to its website this duo is supposed to open up your pores and deeply cleanse it. The first part is supposed to open up them pores while the second part tightens it to minimize the appearance of it. This product does not contain parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of this brand so let’s move right along to what I think about it!
Step one: The Blackhead Steam Pore Pack
The directions says to evenly apply this product onto your face and massage gently for 1-2 minutes. You leave it on for 5-10 minutes then wash off with cold water.
As I started to apply this to my face, I already felt it warming up against my skin. It has a grainy texture. The feeling is very similar to the Biore, Self Heating Charcoal mask, but a little warmer. Apparently there’s natural sparkling water in this product which can explain why my skin kept tingling the whole time I had this on.
Step two: Cool Premium Pore Original Pack
The directions says to apply to face then leave on for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.
I loved how this felt on my face. It was super cooling and soothing on my skin. The cooling sensation actually lasted for the full 15 minutes that I left this on my skin. This product claims to be enriched with 100% Alaskan glacier water … 💦
YES OR NO?:
Overall, I like this product! 👍 I only got a sample size of this but I can already feel the difference that it has done to my skin. I have pretty large pores on my nose and around it and I can see that once I washed off all the product, my pores are definitely cleaner. I wouldn’t say that my pores have minimize but I think that’s because I’ve only used it once. My skin feels so refreshed and I can feel how the product “deeply cleansed” my skin. You can purchase this for $30 through Sephora. I would definitely go purchase the full size version!
